SOOO BIG!

Alivia is now 6 1/2 months old...crazy! The one picture is of her eatting some bananas and the other is her in her Packers Cheerleader uniform from Grandpa Pagel...Dad wasn't too thrilled with the outfit, but it was her only football gear for Tjadan's birthday party!

Here is a picture of Alivia sitting up by herself. It's blurry because she's a bit wobbly yet! The other is of her rolling around on the floor at the office. She doesn't sit still very often anymore. She is five months old now and weighs 16 lbs and is 26.5 inches long.

Here is Alivia in her baptismal gown. She was baptized on May 31, 2009. JaDean's grandma Lorraine made the blanket she is laying on.

Here is our little bundle of joy...Alivia Lorraine Anderson! Born March 30, 2009 at 3:09 AM (also Grandma and Grandpa Bucklin's wedding anniversary) We had planned to do an all natural birth, but after 34 hours of labor she arrived by c-section weighing 7 lbs 11.4 oz and measuring 20 inches long. She looks just like her daddy too. We have truly been blessed!

Week 41

We just had an appointment with our doctor and the baby has dropped some. Everything still looks good, but the baby is just taking its time. We have to go in to the hospital tomorrow to have the baby monitored for a short time just to make sure it is still doing well in there. We're sure it is though because everything looks good.

Week 40

Well, our estimated due date has come and gone and still no baby. I'm not all that surprised though since most first time babies are a week or two late. JaDean and I are trying to be patient, but we are really excited to finally meet the little one. The baby, on the other hand, seems to be perfectly happy hanging out in there! Hopefully next week there will be a baby picture up!

Week 39

As you can see, no baby yet! We had another appointment today with the doctor and he said that the baby still hadn't dropped much at all. I feel like it has some, but that may just be wishful thinking...LOL! The heart beat was 140.

38 Weeks

Sorry there was no 37 week picture...we were in the process of moving me back to Fargo. Thank God I'm back for good now! We had an appointment with our Doctor in Fargo today and everything is good. Still head down, my blood pressure is good, and the heart beat was good. He said that the baby hasn't really dropped yet. JaDean and I are getting really excited to find out what we are having, and I'm really excited to be able to bend over comfortably again!

Month 9

Week 36

Only 4 more weeks until D-Day! JaDean, his dad, and my mom are coming down to Davenport next weekend to pack everything up and move it back to Fargo, and then Wednesday the 25th, my mom and I will head back north for good! I'm excited to have the baby, but I kinda hope JaDean and I have atleast a week to get everything settled in Fargo. We'll see what the baby has in mind though. We have a midwife appointment this Monday, and now we start going in weekly.

Week 35

The other day the baby pushed it's foot out hard enough so I could see and feel it. That was pretty exciting! Some friends at school had a baby shower for us today. That was a lot of fun. A classmate/friend of mine and his wife are expecting on the same date as JaDean and I so we had a combo baby shower. They are having a little girl, and we have no idea what we are expecting. We are very excited to find out though!

Week 34

We had a midwife appointment Monday and she agreed that the baby was head down. We are very happy about that...hopefully it stays that way! The heartbeat was in the 150's.

33 Weeks

Gotta love the stretch marks! I didn't get a picture of 32 weeks because I was busy traveling back to Fargo to meet our Doctor in Fargo. He seemed nice, and was very open to natural childbirth which makes me feel a lot better. He thought that the baby was head down so hopefully the little one stays that way! We have a midwife appointment in Davenport again next Monday so we'll see if the midwife agrees on the baby's position.

31 Weeks

Not much new this week. We had a midwife appointment last Monday, and everything looked good. She thought the baby was breech right now, but at this point it can change all the time. I feel like this belly as grown A LOT in the last couple of days. We have an appointment on Monday the 19th with the doctor in Fargo that we are planning on transferring to...hopefully we feel comfortable with him!
